JJL Livestock was founded in 2003 with the purchase of 20 purebred Red Angus females from Riverdale Stockfarm. From there, the herd has been built mainly with our own females, primarily red with some black influence for outcross genetics. We strive to produce functional, easy fleshing, correct cattle. We keep a small herd, allowing only the best cows to remain and produce. Every year we sell both red and black red carrier bulls and females privately.
